【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovertheconstructionandperformance,exclusiveofperformanceduringfiretests,ofportablehalocarboncleanagentfireextinguishers.HalocarboncleanagentfireextinguishersareintendedtobeutilizedinaccordancewiththeStandardforPortableFireExtinguishers,NFPA10andwiththeNationalFireCodeofCanada.1.2TherequirementsforperformanceduringfiretestingofhalocarboncleanagentfireextinguishersarespecifiedintheBinationalStandardforRatingandFireTestingofFireExtinguishers,ANSI/UL711/CAN/ULC-S508.1.3Asusedintheserequirements,theterm"fireextinguisher"referstoallextinguishersoranypartthereofcoveredbytheserequirements,unlessspecificallynotedotherwise.ThisneweditionofANSI/UL2129CAN/ULC-S566isabinationalstandardthathasbeenharmonizedwiththerequirementsofCanada.ThiseditionincludesanexpansionofthestandardscopetospecifyCanadianinstallationrequirements,reorganizedandrenumberedrequirements,andtheadditionofoperatinginstructionspictographstothemarkingsection.
