【摘要】:1.1ThisclassificationsystemcoversASAandAESmaterials,andASAandAESalloyssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.ThisclassificationsystemdoesnotcoverrecycledASAandAESmaterials,andrecycledASAandAESalloys.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisstandardarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.3Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisstandard.Note18212;ThisclassificationsystemandISO6402coverthesamesubjectmatterbutarenottechnicallyequivalent.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.

【摘要】:Theinsertionlossofapipelaggingsystemdependsuponthelaggingsystemmaterials,themethodusedtoapplythematerials,thepipewallthickness,thesizeandshapeofthebareandlaggedpipe,andthemechanismscausingnoiseradiationfromthepipe.Insertionlossesmeasuredusingthistestmethodshouldbeusedwithsomecaution.Inthelaboratory,measurementsmustbemadeunderreproducibleconditions,butinpracticalusageinthefield,theconditionsthatdeterminetheeffectiveinsertionlossaredifficulttopredictandtheymayleadtoslightlydifferentresults.Insertionlossesmeasuredwiththistestmethodcanbeusedsuccessfullyforacousticaldesignpurposes.Insertionlossesmeasuredwiththistestmethodaremostusefulforpipesandlaggingsystemswhicharesimilartothoseusedinthelaboratoryconfiguration.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtorank-orderpipelaggingsystemsaccordingtoinsertionlossortoestimatethefieldinsertionlossofpipelaggingsystemsinstalledinthefield.Thistestmethodassumesthatpipewallstressesresultingfromdifferentmethodsofsupportingthetestpipeinthelaboratorydonothaveasignificanteffectuponthemeasuredinsertionloss.Pipelaggingsystemstypicallyhavesmallinsertionloss,andsometimesnegativeinsertionloss,atfrequenciesbelow500Hz.Theresultsobtainedatfrequenciesbelow500Hzmaybesomewhaterratic.Soundsourcesusedwiththistestmethodnormallyhavealowfrequencylimitintherangefrom300to500Hz.Forthesereasons,thelowestbandoffrequenciesforwhichresultsarerequirediscenteredat500Hz.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheinsertionlossofpipelaggingsystemsunderlaboratoryconditions.1.2AprocedureforaccreditingalaboratoryforpurposesofthistestmethodisgiveninAnnexA1.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
